I have been a Flight Attendant for twenty-five years. I have been based all over the world in my time here and have now come full circle home to SANSW (which is now part of LAX) where I grew up. I am also a mother of twin elementary school-aged girls.

I have been very fortunate to serve on a vast array of AFA Committees from the local level to the International level. My AFA volunteer experience began with the local Reserve Committee in ORD in the year 2000. I then went on to serve as the first MEC Membership Engagement Chairperson, then as the MEC Vice-Chairperson for Communications and for Government Affairs respectively. I currently serve as a member of the Legislative Policy Committee for AFA’s Board of Directors.

Advocating for our Membership and working to build grassroots action through each of these roles has taught me powerful lessons about the power of our collective voice.  The knowledge I have gained through the work of each of these committees has supplemented my education to provide me the foundation needed to effectively step into the role of Council Representative.

In Solidarity,
