Eddie C. Bayan Celebration of Life

Many of you have heard that long-time Flight Attendant advocate and former AFA Council 12 Secretary Eddie Bayan passed away in August.  All of us are indebted to Eddie for his many years of dedicated work on behalf of United Flight Attendants, the Flight Attendant profession, and our Union.  Everyone who had the opportunity to work with Eddie loved him tremendously.

A memorial celebrating the life of Eddie Bayan will be held on October 27, 2023, in Los Angeles, CA from 12pm to 2pm.

The Proud Bird facility is located one (1) mile from the Los Angeles (LAX) Airport adjacent to the former employee “E” parking lot.  If you are flying in, we recommend you use an Uber or Lyft to/from the facility.  There is ample free parking at the facility for those who may elect to drive.

On October 27th, Memorial Services will begin at 12:00 PM in the Mission Room of the Proud Bird Event Center.  Beginning at 11:00AM there will be an opportunity for people to gather and share beverages/appetizers and memories of Eddie before the start of the program.

Please wear your uniform to the Memorial Service if you are able.
