Remembering 9/11

Remembering 9/11

Tomorrow, September 11th, we commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on our country. That fateful day, 25 Flight Attendants died as they alerted the country and the world to the coming attack on our nation. They died heroes.  We honor them and we will never forget.  20 years later we continue to remember their courage and will carry on their memory forever.  This year the AFA-CWA Honor Guard will visit all three sites to honor our fallen members.  Mary Garton, Council Representative for AFA LAX | SAN was chosen as a member of this year's honor guard for our union.

Tomorrow, members are encouraged to take a moment of silence at 8:46 AM eastern to remember those who died. You can click here to see a video from the AFA honoring those we lost.
