As we enter the month of October, the first wave of voter registration deadlines for the upcoming General Election are upon us. Regardless of whether you are an active voter who has never missed an opportunity to cast your ballot, or this is your first election cycle, we encourage you to take 5 minutes to check your voter registration status.
Each state is unique in their voter registration process and the deadlines they require in order to register, or re-register to vote. As aviation's first responders and last line of defense, we know the importance of strong aviation legislation. We also know our schedules can be unpredictable from one month to the next, and we cannot always guarantee where we will be on any given day. When we make a plan to cast our vote, we are taking necessary steps to protect and improve our profession.
